They were asked (warned) to tone down Wendy's actions..
(They knew she was a crass attention seeker..)
It was made very clear that if she "raunched out" she would pay big..
A lot was hanging in the balance..
Only a moron would screw up their career at this point..
Wendy spread her legs and grabbed her right breast.
She paid big.
The BBC (who also run the UK's biggest radio station) ignored the band from then..
(Other radio stations take their lead from BBC..)
None of their singles were playlisted for airplay..
Their videos were not shown.
Anywhere that mattered.
Cutting down their "oxygen of publicity"..
Effectively killing the band stone cold dead.
Since then of course the UK media have repeated this action.
Ignoring Wendy's solo material deliberately..
To teach her a painful,expensive and public lesson..
